It means exactly that – Qoretx will never send you a bill. We cover all the development, design, and operational costs with our internal team. In exchange, we negotiate an equity share in your company (just like a co-founder would). This stake reflects a co-founding position representative of the wide breadth and depth of technology, management experience, daily operational support and strategic guidance Qoretx contributes. We only make money when your startup succeeds (e.g. raising a round or exiting down the line). There's no fine print where you owe fees later – we share risk and reward, 100%.

How much equity will Qoretx take, and will I still own control of my company?

The equity percentage varies case by case, but our goal is to be fair and founder-friendly. Typically, our stake is enough to make it worthwhile for us, but you are the co-founder with a representative stake in the company and lead the vision and major day to day decisions and operations. Remember, we position ourselves as co-founders – not acquirers. We want you to feel comfortable with the split, structuring the entrepreneurs shares to vest over time with full vesting upon major events to protect your liquidity events. You'll still lead the company; we're here to support and accelerate you, not to take over. All terms are discussed transparently upfront, and there are no surprises. In short: you get the team and resources, we get to work with visionaries and a shared shot at the moon. Your vision stays in your hands, now with extra muscle behind it.

You don't need a fully formed team – that's the point, we provide that – but you should have deep knowledge of your market or product concept.
